The comforter has a smooth underside and a slightly shiny, coarse top layer, which some people have complained about. However, this design creates a neat tuck and pin effect and keeps the corners in place like in the product photos.

This comforter and pillows are stunning and sophisticated, with a color that is even more vibrant in person. Unlike other comforters I’ve tried, this one fits my king bed perfectly and the soft microsuede underside adds warmth and comfort. While I would have preferred a plusher blanket like the one in the picture, the overall quality is still very good.

The product is just as beautiful as the picture, although it arrived slightly wrinkled due to its compact packaging. However, a quick tumble in the dryer fixed it and the fabric is of good quality with well-done stitching, providing warmth without being too heavy.

Although I am a fan of this comforter set, the purple shade is not exactly as shown – it appears more plum than purple. The comforter itself is lightweight and thin, which may not be an issue for those who tend to sleep hot, but I plan on adding a quilt for extra warmth during the winter.
