Despite the initial small size of the shrink wrapped package, the panels expand to a significant height when unpacked and left to expand for 24 hours. The neutral color and professional appearance of the panels make them a great addition to any home recording studio, and using the “mirror trick” can greatly improve sound quality in a modest setup.

Initially doubtful about the cost, I placed these behind my screens, on the ceiling, and behind me. The installation was simple and they adhere securely without appearing to damage the wall upon removal. The sound dampening effect is noticeable.

After testing the audiosoul 52-Pack Acoustic Panels, I found that they effectively reduce sound bounce during recordings. However, they are not meant for soundproofing and are better suited for improving acoustic conditions in a room. Just be aware that they are thinner than expected.
