The backing is not the typical thick rubber that cracks, but it still grips onto my tile floor perfectly, allowing me to vacuum without any slipping.

Although I appreciate the softness of this bath mat, I was disappointed that the background color was not as light as shown in the photos. The starfish and shells are still visible, but I would prefer if it didn’t have a sprayed rubber backing that makes it difficult to move.
