I recently purchased my second Madison Park King Coverlet and have found it to be similar to a heavy sheet rather than a quilt. To address concerns about lint, I suggest shaking the coverlet before washing it on a delicate cycle with no fabric softener, drying it on low heat with a dryer sheet, and periodically emptying the lint trap and shaking the coverlet to remove wrinkles and damp spots. I was able to get this coverlet at a discounted price in its original packaging with no damage.
